Rubik's Cube

I meant to write something up the other day about this last weekend, but I didn't get around to it. Not a whole lot happened but I did have a pretty cool experience. I found out about an official Rubik's Cube contest being held in FL. Apparently they only have one a year in Florida, so I decided I had to give it a shot. I found out last minute and drove myself down just for fun. Anyway here is the Rubik's Cube Competition link.

That's awesome! I've been meaning to learn the secrets to how to properly beat a Rubix cube, but I keep on procrastinating that. Maybe you can teach me one day! I've also been meaning to become an expert scrabble player. I found a guy who is a past scrabble champ living in my town who is willing to teach me, but I haven't yet taken him up on it.

I would be more than happy to teach you anytime. Some people I have taught including my brother have learned how to do it in less than an hour. Of course it may take 15 or 20 minutes to solve it when you first are figuring it out. Next time I see you I can show you. I always carry my cube whenever I travel. ;o)

Are you serious? Rubik's Cube solving contests? What is next, Competitive Eating Contests?

How do you justify playing with toys when there are so many children in this world that do not have any toys?
